Union Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that the digital India Campaign is an effort to make an honest and transparent India.


Addressing the volunteers of the Financial Literacy Campaign in New Delhi, he said that Digital India is a weapon to empower the common man of the country.

On this occasion, Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the country's economic health will improve with digital revolution and more funds will be available for public welfare.

It is pertinent to note that the Union Human Resource Development Ministry had organised financial literacy campaign in higher educational institutions from 12 December last year till 12 February this year.

Student volunteers and institutions playing a key role in the dissemination of this campaign were also honoured.
